Svítání has been existing since November 1997. Many members took place in first years of group existence. In November 2001 Svitani recorded its first album "Ve dne v noci" and then became to aim to a more instrumental music, combining more musical styles. The evolution brought the dulcimer, cello, accordion, electric guitar and much more.

In November 2005 Svitani recorded its second studio album "Quo vadis, Angelina?" which brings their own style - Original Czech Music.

Since 2009 Svitani has been recording four-five tracks CD every year and gives it to the people at concerts, as a gift. It is an state-of-the-art attitude, as contemporary music must be based on live gigs, not on making money from CDs.
